MHLW states that the FY2026 deadline is the earlier of the day before the regional minimum-wage effective date and 30 November 2026. Some regional deadlines may already have passed. Check the official regional list.
Investment plus a wage increase
The official overview describes productivity-enhancing investment and a specified increase in the workplace minimum wage. Workplaces without employees are not eligible. Amounts and rates depend on the applicable conditions.
